Shampoo Bars - Coming in early 2012!  It looks like a bar of
soap, but it's a mild shampoo!

Before there were expensive hair salons and products, people used herbs for
their hair to clean, condition, and treat hair issues.  Simple, but effective!
Note:  Some rinses may slightly alter current hair color, this is only
temporary and will fade with each wash.

Herbal Hair Help
Hair Growth
Contains Rosemary, Yarrow, Sage, Catnip, Horsetail, and Lavender.  This
combination cleans scalp and strengthens hair shafts while promoting hair growth.
Simply brew as a tea and massage into scalp.  Rinse with warm water, or leave on
overnight and rinse out.  Promotes hair growth,  Use daily - one bag will last 3 - 5
days depending on length of hair.
Itchy Dry Scalp
Itchy scalp can be caused by harsh chemicals in shampoo, blow drying, climate
changes, dandruff, or dead skin on your scalp.  Contains Rosemary, Parsley, Sage,
and Peppermint.  You can also add a couple of drops of Tea Tree oil.  Massage into
scalp, rinse out.
Dry and Brittle Hair
Contains Horsetail, Parsley, and Oat Straw.  Soothing and nourishing to dry hair.
Horsetail contains silica which helps strengthen hair and prevent split ends.  Rinse
and massage into clean hair.  Rinse out with warm water, or leave in overnight.  If
hair is light, like blond, ash, or white, do a test spot as dry hair may absorb colors of
the herbs!  For extra dry hair, add a few drops of Jojoba Oil.  Towel dry whenever
possible - avoid hair dryers and flat irons.
Oily Hair
Oily hair is caused by overactive glands in the hair follicle.  Contains Spearmint,
Peppermint, and Sage.  Helps clean scalp and hair shafts.  Wash hair, rinse with herb
mixture, then rinse again with warm water.  Towel dry.
Lice
Head lice have been plaguing humans for thousands of years!  Our simple hair tea is
a blend of Thyme, Chrysanthemum, and Hyssop.  Chrysanthemum contains natural
pyretheum, same ingredient used in natural insecticides!  Brew as a tea, add 1 cup
apple cider vinegar, soak hair, rub into scalp, and wrap soaking hair in a towel for
20 minutes.  Rinse and comb hair out with a little nit comb.  Repeat twice a day
until hair is nit free.  Change pillow cases daily and wash clothes and bedding on
hottest cycle of washer with 1-2 cups white vinegar.
Itchy Dry Oil Treatment
Contains healing Jojoba Oil, Peppermint Oil (to calm scalp), and Tea Tree Oil
(antifungal, antiseptic).  Rub a few drops into scalp, massage in.  For best results,
leave in overnight, wash hair normally in the morning.  Advisable to use a towel on
pillow as oil may stain linens.  1 oz. bottle with eye dropper.
